Background
Proposition 50 (PDF)
, The Water Security, Clean Drinking Water, Coastal and Beach Protection Act of 2002, Water Code Section 79500, et seq., was passed by California voters in the November 2002 general election. Assembly Bill 1747 (PDF)
was signed into law in August 2003, and took effect immediately, clarifying some of the Proposition 50 requirements. [To stay current, always refer to the actual Water Code, Division 26.5.]

Project Priority Lists (PPLs)
If your preapplication is on a project priority list (PPL), you do not need to resubmit your preapplication. If your preapplication was previously found to be ineligible, you will need to address its deficiencies prior to resubmitting it in a subsequent cycle. Learn more about the Universal Pre-Application here.
Draft Round 3 PPLs for CDPH's Proposition 50 project categories are now available. These include preapplications submitted in Calendar Year 2007 and earlier. Any preapplications submitted in 2008 are not included on these lists.
