World Health Organization (WHO) Growth Standards/Charts

As of May 27, 2011, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has adopted the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendation to use the WHO growth standards for infants and children, birth to 24 months.  USDA has revised and added WIC nutrition risk criteria to incorporate the WHO growth standards.  California WIC will implement these risk criteria by October 1, 2012.  The following provides further information:
