On September 29, 2012 the Governor's Office signed Assembly Bill 2322 into law affecting the California Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program which took effect immediately.

VWIX Downtime Schedule for 2013
The VWIX downtime period is EVERY Monday from 12:01 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. During the downtime period vendors will be prevented from accessing the VWIX system and disconnect vendors currently in the system when the downtime period begins. It is suggested that vendors who need to access VWIX do so and log off by 11:45 p.m. the day before. Vendors submitting FTP’s during the downtime period must verify in the Status of Submissions after the downtime period is complete to ensure their FTP files were accepted and resubmit their FTP files if they are not found.
