PCE Training
The State WIC Division is developing a variety of resources to help train local agency staff. These include:
PCE Workshops
This series of four State-led PCE workshops addresses individual and group education, mentoring, and design of group sessions. In general, these workshops will take place at regional training centers and will be available to all local agencies. They are designed to be sequential such that some of the sessions build on previous sessions. They include:
Offered at Regional Training Centers
Be an Effective WIC Mentor - Supporting educators through observation and feedback for both Individual and Group Education
Offered at Regional Training Centers OR as Self-paced Online Modules
Offered via videoconference from the State WIC Office directly to local agency or regional training center VC equipment

PCE Inservice Designs
This series of 19 in-service modules emphasizes one or more of the PCE competencies. These trainings are designed for local agency trainers or other staff to lead during staff meetings or on training days, and generally take 30-60 minutes for each session.
