California WIC supports the consumption of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables and encourages shopping at community farmers markets. In addition to CalFresh EBT, there are three food benefit programs available at many farmers' markets. Two of the food benefit programs supported by WIC and the other is supported by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for seniors.
