Code of Conduct Training

Description

Code of Conduct training meets the State requirement for all local agency staff to attend Code of Conduct training once every 12 months.  There are two separate interactive training modules that together represent the Code of Conduct education component.  The Confidentiality module covers the minimally required subject areas on 1) WIC local agency-vendor confidentiality requirements; 2) identifying confidential information; and 3) maintaining the confidentiality of participants, vendors, and local agency staff.  The Conflict of Interest module covers the minimally required subject areas on 1) WIC local agency and vendor conflict of interest requirements; 2) identifying conflict of interest issues; and 3) fulfilling local agency employee conflict of interest disclosure processes.  For more information, refer to the WIC Program Manual (WPM) Section 190-00

    You can print out these cards for the activity, “Putting It into Practice,” and distribute amongst the trainee table groups.  There is a front and back-side of each card that identifies which question is being discussed so it correlates with the answer key contained in the Facilitator’s Guide.
