December 2, 2013: California Tobacco Control Program Advertising Campaign Request for Proposal (RFP) 14-10003 released
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to award one contract to conduct the statewide CTCP Advertising Campaign, which would reach the general market and selected ethnic and priority population markets. The first stage of the RFP is due on December 20, 2013.
November 19, 2013: California Tobacco Control Program (CTCP) released Reuqest for Applications (RFA) 14-10010 Reduce Tobacco-Related Inequities Interventions.
The purpose of the RFA is to fund 10 to 12 grants that will implement and evaluate innovative community-focused health education and health promotion interventions that will result in policy, system, and environmental changes. The interventions will focus on preventing and reducing tobacco use among groups with high rates of tobacco use including: African American; American Indian/Alaska Native; Asian/Pacific Islander; Hispanic/Latino; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender; low socioeconomic status; and people with mental health illnesses and substance abuse disorders (behavioral health community). Applications are due January 9, 2014 by 5 p.m. PST.
