How is the Program Administered?

This mandated statewide program is centrally managed by the Genetic Disease Screening Program (GDSP). Prenatal care providers, birth attendants, maternity hospitals, contract laboratories and follow-up coordinators, pediatric care providers, parents and State staff all play a role in the screening process.
