MO 13-0005 MCAH
Every five years, the MCAH Division completes a statewide needs assessment of the health status and system capacity for the entire maternal, child and adolescent health population in California. In addition to satisfying federal Title V requirements, the needs assessment identifies priorities that will guide MCAH and the Systems of Care Division (formerly CMS) from 2016 through 2020.
Each local health jurisdiction (LHJ) completes a local needs assessment every five years and uses the results to plan local programs. The MCAH Division compiles information from the local needs assessments and uses other statewide data to develop the statewide needs assessment.
This page contains the documents that local jurisdictions will use to complete their local 2016-2020 Needs Assessment.
