b2B Debuts May 8, Register Now!

brochure 2 BLOG: Public Health Communication for a New Age (b2B) premiers May 8 to California health educators, Immunization Coordinators, and other public health professionals. b2B, the Immunization Branch’s newest multi-media training program, will simultaneously air as a webcast and satellite broadcast. It features innovative communication modalities and demonstrates how public health professionals can use them. The two-part program features a 30-minute documentary-style video that explores the ways public media consumption is evolving, and showcases technology tools (e.g., podcasts, virtual reality, online gaming) already in use in public health. Viewers will learn cutting edge ways to create and enhance community interventions. Participants are invited to log on to a dedicated website immediately after the webcast/broadcast to learn how they can apply e-technology tools to their work.

The complete program runs from 10:00  to 11:30 am May 8.  Participants can watch the program as a webcast on their own computer or view the program at a  satellite downlink location near them.
