CCLHDN - LHD Peer Exchange Program

Description:  The Peer Exchange program provides LHD nutrition staff an opportunity for to learn from one another through site visits organized around the specific needs of participants. Peer Exchanges can be organized at any LHD or as regional exchanges. LHDs new to the Network are encouraged to participate. Funding from the Network is available to support associated travel expenses within state guidelines.

County Nutrition Action Plan (CNAP) Support

Date & Time:  Ongoing By Request

Description:  LHDs have found it helpful to learn how other counties have approached CNAP development.  CCLHDN staff are available to assist LHDs by connecting them with other counties that have CNAP development experience, assisting with developing CNAP meeting agendas, and facilitating CNAP meetings (Network travel funds permitting).

Choosing Survey Instruments for Your Impact Outcome Evaluation Population

Analyzing and Interpreting Impact Outcome Evaluation Data

Description:  To assist local health departments in meeting their Impact Outcome Evaluation (IOE) deliverable, this training: (1) describes how to use an excel-based Data Entry Template to complete and interpret a basic data analysis, (2) explains the basics of statistical analysis for quantitative (numeric) data, and (3) discusses the benefits of including graphic presentations of data as well as incorporating qualitative evaluation components into IOE.

At the completion of this training, participants should be able to complete data entry of IOE data, interpret the results of data analysis from a Data Entry Template, and decide how to enhance the presentation of their data.
