Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) is the international federation of over 75 national Alzheimer's disease associations around the world. It was founded in 1984 to help establish and strengthen these organizations through the exchange of information, skills, and models of best practice. ADI works locally by empowering national Alzheimer associations to promote and offer care and support for people with dementia and their caregivers while working globally to focus attention on the epidemic and to campaign for policy change from governments and the World Health Organization.
