"Women and HIV Online Self-Study Modules" (PDF)- Developed by the Texas/Oklahoma AIDS Education and Training Center, this set of self-study modules earns free Continuing Education Units. (posted August 2, 2011)

"2011 HIV Credentialing"- The American Academy of HIV Medicine has announced that recertifying and eligible first-time physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and pharmacists may apply for 2011 HIV Credentialing. (posted June 1, 2011)

"Cardiovascular Disease and HIV Series" (PDF)- The American Heart Association and the Texas/Oklahoma AIDS Education and Training Center present this collaborative series for cardiologists, endocrinologists, infectious disease practitioners, HIV providers, internal medicine practitioners, family practitioners, nurses, and other primary care physicians.  Participate in this free self-study module at your own pace. (posted April 7, 2011)

"Women of Color and HIV: Unique Needs, Real Solutions" (PDF)- HealthHIV offers two trainings for primary care providers treating women with HIV or at risk for HIV infection, through a free, on-demand, Continuing Medical Education/ Continuing Nursing Education webinar series.  (posted April 5, 2011)

Online Trainings Media Library (PDF)- This media library houses webinar trainings that were conducted by the Banyan Tree Project, a Capacity Building Assistance provider.  New trainings will be added on a regular basis, approximately four weeks following the date of the training. Training module for physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and physician assistants: "Answering the Questions: Implementing Routine HIV Testing in Primary Care Settings" (PDF)- Module expires on November 10, 2011. (posted January 26, 2011)

Resource for Providers: "HIV Testing and Screening Cost and Reimbursement Toolkit" (PDF), a free, downloadable toolkit provided by the Health Research & Education Trust (HRET) (posted January 26, 2011)

Free Web-Based Training on STDs for Non-Clinicians offerred by the California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center (PDF)- This online course has 7 interactive modules covering topics such as the most common STDs, transmission, consequences, epidemiological data, the connection between HIV and other STDs, information on specific populations at higher risk, STD prevention and how to apply STD facts to interactions with students and clients to encourage more protective behaviors and healthier decisionmaking. The course takes approximately 3 hours to complete and free continuing education credits (and $15 for 3 CHES credits) are available upon completion. (posted February 8, 2010)
