Office of Viral Hepatitis Prevention (OVHP)

Adult Viral Hepatitis Prevention Program

The Office of Adult Viral Hepatitis Prevention works in partnership with local, state and national health officials, community-based organizations, service providers, and individuals to reduce the impact of viral hepatitis (e.g., hepatitis A, B and C) among adults in California. In 2008, the Office of Adult Viral Hepatitis Prevention began working with these stakeholders to develop a viral hepatitis strategic plan for adults in California, which was released January 11, 2010. This page provides adult viral hepatitis prevention information and resources.
