Welcome from the General Preventive Medicine/Public Health Residency Director
PMRP aims to train physicians to be leaders in California public health agencies at the state and local level. Residents will have the opportunity to gain hands on knowledge and skills in public health administration, under the guidance of practicing public health physicians. Residents do have assigned projects, but are also able to take advantage of additional training opportunities throughout the year. The goal is for residents to gain competency in both Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) competencies.
I welcome your interest in the PMRP.

Caroline Peck, MD, MPH, FACOG
Residency Director
