Welcome from the Cal-EIS Fellowship Director

Cal-EIS aims to provide an opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands on knowledge and skills in applied epidemiology and public health practice.  It is also an excellent means to obtain experience under the guidance of seasoned epidemiologists.  Fellows do have assigned projects, but are also able to take advantage of additional training opportunities throughout the year.  The year is an excellent preparation for epidemiologist positions in state and local health agencies.
