MyPlate resources were developed to help individuals achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Tools and handouts encourage teens and pregnant and breastfeeding women to include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy on their plates every day and be physically active.

    This handout is for pregnant women who have gestational diabetes and breastfeeding women who have experienced gestational diabetes.
    • My Plate's Daily Food Plan for Moms: Weight Gain during Pregnancy  The total amount of weight a woman should gain during pregnancy depends on her weight when she becomes pregnant. Lear how much weight a woman should probably gain and tips for obtaining that weight.
