1.  How do you set up an intervention?

Anyone wishing to define their agency’s interventions should do several things prior to set up in the system:

Review the definition of an intervention on the ELI Definitions page of this Web site;

Review Step 7 of the Coordinator's Quick Start Guide available on the Documents page of this Web site;

Attend an ELI training; and

Have any new interventions reviewed by Jennifer Rohde by e-mail: jennifer.rohde@cdph.ca.gov prior to data entry.

2.  How do I set up a group intervention?

Please see the document Guidance for Creating Group Interventions on the ELI Documents page of this Web site. 

3.  What do I do if I do not know how much of my budget is devoted to a single intervention or target population?

In the intervention set up screen ELI requires you to list your target populations, the number you are targeting and the portion of your budget devoted to the particular intervention you are setting up.  If you do not have a definite idea of how much money is devoted to a particular intervention please use your best guess for now.

4.  What do I do if I do not know how many full-time employees (FTE) are devoted to a single intervention?

In the intervention set up screen ELI requires you to list your target populations, the number you are targeting and the portion of your budget devoted to the particular intervention you are setting up as well as the number of FTEs devoted to the intervention.  If you do not have a definite idea of how many FTEs you have devoted to a particular intervention, please use your best guess for now.
