OAQ Emergency Preparedness Unit

The unit conducts “All Hazards Preparedness Training” statewide, and coordinates the Laboratory Response Network-Chemical (LRN-C) response to chemical incidents in California. This unit also does forensic chemistry work on white powders and other acceptable samples, and validates air quality in the recovery phase of a chemical event.
