The California State Information Officers Council (SiOC) awarded CDPH a Gold Award in that best bargain category for the CDPH FilmFest: Lights, Camera, Save Lives! H1N1 Public Service Announcement (PSA) contest.
National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) Gold Award in the Outsourced New Media Category for the video documentary "Vaccines: Wading through the Confusion".
National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) Gold Award In-House Brochure category "Immunizations for a Healthy Pregnancy".
National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) Silver Award New Media category for "EZIZ Web-based Training for Medical Assistants".
The National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) announced that the Immunization Branch’s 2008 Brochure 2 Blog: Public Health Communication for a New Age (B2B) webcast program won a Silver Award in the New Media category.
October 2007 National Public Health Information Coalition Gold Award in the New Media category for the Pandemic Influenza Preparedness for Schools training (broadcast, tabletop exercise, and website) for county offices of education and county health departments.
October 2007 In the category "Media Kits," the Immunization Branch won a National Public Health Information Coalition Gold
Award for the “Preteen Vaccine Week media kit” that provides messages about new immunizations for 11 and 12 year olds and
promotes the preteen doctor visit.
December 2006 Communicator Award for Distinction for "Wash Your Hands" radio PSA
