HIV/AIDS Surveillance Projects
The Office of AIDS implements a number of surveillance projects to track HIV infections (new and existing), people in HIV care, and those at elevated risk for becoming infected. The Spectrum of HIV Surveillance (PDF) is provided as a tool to understand how these surveillance projects provide epidemiological information on both those at risk for and those living with HIV. Summaries of these projects, and reports, can be found at the links below. All data analysis, and some data collection/quality assurance, for the Office of AIDS Surveillance projects are completed by the Research Section.
