Expanded HIV Testing in Healthcare Settings 2015-2017

 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has designated funding through PS12-1201 Category B Expanded Testing for Disproportionately Affected Populations, to implement routine opt-out HIV screening in healthcare settings including appropriate linkage to care, partner services, and prevention services to newly diagnosed positives and persons who have fallen out of care.  The California Department of Public Health, Center for Infectious Diseases, Office of AIDS (OA) is soliciting Request for Applications (RFA) from eligible entities (EE) for 2015-2017.  OA looks forward to receiving applications from all eligible entities in order to increase HIV screening, linkage to care, partner services, and prevention services in California.

Please note the following important dates: 

  • Questions about the RFA must be submitted in writing by email to: ExpandedHIVTesting@cdph.ca.gov by Friday, October 10, 2014 by 5 pm, PST.
  • Questions and responses will be posted on this webpage by Friday, October 24, 2014.
  • Mandatory electronic Letter of Intent (LOI) is due on Friday, October 31, 2014 by 5 pm, PST.
  • Electronic Application submission is due on Friday, November 21, 2014 by 5 pm, PST.
