Alzheimer's Disease Program International (ADI)
Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) is the umbrella organization of Alzheimer associations in 77 countries throughout the world which offer support and information to people with dementia and their caregivers. Established in 1984, the ADI is dedicated to providing support to people with dementia and their caregivers, social care professionals, researchers, scientists and politicians together through shared concerns for people with Alzheimer's or other dementias by:
- Practical and emotional help such as help lines and support groups
- Information and advisce
- Advocacy to govenments
- Training for caregivers and professionals
