CDPH Support of Breastfeeding Employees

In recognition of the importance of breastfeeding for infants, mothers, and society, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) promotes and protects breastfeeding mothers and babies by:

Meeting and exceeding the requirements of the California Lactation Accommodation Law for our employees

Providing visitors appropriate areas to express milk.

Below are resources and information for employees and their families, as well as for visitors to our offices and website, so that mothers can continue to breastfeed as long as mother and baby desire
