Cancer Data Query System (CDQS)

An interactive tool, using California Cancer Registry data, for quick access to California and county-specific cancer statistics (incidence and mortality) for major cancer sites by sex, race/ethnicity, and age. The site not only provides statistical tables but also interactive maps, graphs, and figures showing geographic patterns and time trends of cancer incidence and mortality data from 1988 through our most recent year of data. This site may be of interest to the general public, special interest groups, students, researchers, health professionals, media and others.

Organization

Chronic Disease Surveillance and Research Branch (CDSRB)

The Chronic Disease Surveillance and Research Branch (CDSRB) is committed to serving the public by collecting statewide data about cancer and cancer risk factors, conducting surveillance and research into the causes, cures, and controls of cancer, and communicating the results to the public.

California Cancer Registry (CCR)

The California Cancer Registry (CCR) is California's statewide population-based cancer surveillance system. The CCR collects information about all cancers diagnosed in California (except basal and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin and carcinoma in situ of the cervix).
