HIV/AIDS Monthly Statistics

Please note that the most recent HIV/AIDS surveillance summary data available for California is only current to April, 2009. Due to the recent conversion of California HIV/AIDS surveillance information from our old (legacy) system to the modernized system in line with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements, updated HIV/AIDS surveillance information will not be available until approximately October 30, 2009. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.   • The Office of AIDS, HIV/AIDS Case Registry Section, provides basic AIDS and HIV statistics.  The monthly report is available after the beginning of the next month.  For example, January HIV/AIDS statistics are available in early February.  The HIV statistics became available starting in 2003.
